Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated has a rich history of involvement in the international arena. The organization is committed to the plight of people living across the diaspora. Chapters around the nation prepare programs to impact lives of women and girls in South Africa, Kenya and Haiti.

 

The Union County Alumnae Chapter’s International Awareness & Involvement Committee (IAI) developed a mission to assist women, women-led groups and girls in developing countries to become self-sufficient; and to create global awareness of their needs. To that end, the committee has created the following program goals.

• Promote International Awareness and Involvement

• Ability to Create Significant Impact and Measurable Outcomes
