The Membership Services Committee of Union County Alumnae Chapter (UCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., welcomes you! UCAC services Union County, NC, which consists of the following towns: Fairview, Hemby Bridge, Indian Trail, Jaars, Lake Park, Marshville, Marvin, Mineral Springs, Monroe, Stallings, Unionville, Waxhaw, Weddington, Wesley Chapel, and Wingate. We accomplish this through the work of over 100 members dedicated to Service, Scholarship, and Sisterhood.
Retention and Reclamation
The Membership Services committee is responsible for the reclamation and retention of our members. Our primary goal is to ensure that our members retain the same excitement for Delta as when they were first initiated by staying engaged, involved and active. We desire to support increased member engagement by providing opportunities for members to become change agents in our communities and lead through service. We believe in UCAC that every member is an integral part of the fabric of our chapter. We want every member to be involved at the level that works best for them and we do not take your membership for granted. That said, please consider UCAC as you search for your next Delta Home. Visitors
Greetings Visiting and Guest Sorors!
We invite you to join us at a general chapter meeting or upcoming event. Chapter meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month (September – June), and are open to duly initiated members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Visiting sorors must present their membership card or credentials and proof of identification. Membership verification is required prior to admittance into the meeting.
Business attire is required for all chapter meetings. First time visitors are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to allow time for verification of credentials.
If you desire to attend general chapter meetings, please complete the Membership Verification Form (below) at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled start of the meeting. Once your membership is verified, you will be contacted. If you are able to obtain a Letter of Verification from the Sisters Only portal of the national website, please email the letter to 2ndvp@unioncountydst.org. Once received and verified, you will be contacted.
Delta D.E.A.R.S.
Delta D.E.A.R.S. is an acronym for Dedicated-Energetic-Active-Respected-Soror. Each member, along with long-standing membership, have reached the age of 62 years.
